ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — The Alliance of Sleep Apnea Partners (ASAP) is pleased to announce that Audrey Wells, MD, Chief Medical Officer of SLIIIP.com, a nationwide comprehensive sleep telemedicine practice, is joining its board of directors. Dr. Wells brings a wealth of leadership insights and business expertise that will support ASAP’s patient-centered mission, as well as its vision of
making sleep apnea a national priority.

Dr. Wells is a triple-board-certified physician with over two decades of experience in sleep
medicine, obesity medicine, and pediatrics.
"ASAP’s mission aligns with my work to make sleep apnea care more effective, comfortable, and accessible, and I’m honored to join its board of directors to help elevate the work they are doing to advance patient safety and wellbeing,” says Dr. Wells. “I am committed to supporting ASAP’s growing patient community and contributing to its education and advocacy initiatives, particularly those addressing sleep apnea in women—an area that is often overlooked.”
Her approach goes beyond traditional treatment, integrating cutting-edge technology, non-
pharmacologic therapies like CBT-I, and lifestyle interventions to help patients achieve optimal
sleep.

As the founder of Super Sleep MD, Dr. Wells built a nationally recognized digital sleep education and support platform that helped thousands of individuals improve their sleep and access expert guidance beyond the traditional clinic model. Her experience as a physician-entrepreneur uniquely positions her to scale evidence-based sleep care through both direct-to- consumer and enterprise models.
She has held leadership roles in clinical and digital health initiatives, developing innovative,
patient-centered sleep solutions that bridge education, technology, and medical care. She
believes in leveraging creativity, technology, and data to transform the patient journey and
deliver high-impact, sustainable solutions at scale. In her current role as Chief Medical Officer of
SLIIIP.com, she leads the development of scalable, precision-based clinical programs designed
to expand access to comprehensive sleep care across the United States.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Wells is an advocate for women’s health and a champion of
holistic approaches to patient care. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she can provide expert, individualized support for women navigating their midlife health journey, especially women living with sleep apnea. Dr. Wells serves alongside ASAP’s Chief Executive, Monica Mallampalli, PhD, on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s Women and Sleep Health Task Force established in 2025.
